I have had many people ask me about creating this website. Many believe that creating such a site for their own purpose would be too technical or demanding. As a professional teacher in I.T for the past 10 years I can tell you that their is a lot of hogwash, gobbledygook and nonsense talked about computers, usually by those who wish to baffle and impress.
THE TRUTH? MAKING A WEBSITE LIKE THIS IS PRETTY EASY
So if you fancy blogging your own DIY project, creating a site about your hobby, up coming wedding or even creating a site for your own business, there is nothing to stop you doing it yourself.
Here are the two most common questions I get about making your own website:
| Is the software used to make this site expensive? | NO - It's all FREE (All you need pay is around £40 for domain name and hosting - details on that below, keep reading) |
| Isn't the software complex and hard to learn? | NO - Provided you can be reasonably logical and understand the basics of files and folders on a PC, then with a little time and effort, I could easily have you making your own website as good or better than mine. |

The modular approach means that it would be easy for you to see how I make my site but easily add, omit or alter any items to suit your own needs.
